Pray for Joel Catalyst

Pray For Joel Stigale (Please)  Catalyst Hip-Hop/Miami Youth for Christ

There is someone who is in need of prayer right now. We could all use prayer and positive intentions from those around us. I know its hard to care for someone you don’t know so please just skim below. If you feel moved to read please read and or follow the links to see a very special person who walked the path of a human among us.

Joel Stigale is a person who has helped and positively influenced so many people. For many caring and giving is a difficult thing but for Joel it comes a bit easier. Regardless of wealth or faith, I hope we can pray for recovery of a person who I (many) consider to be a good man. Times are hard and we don’t have a lot of financial excess to give freely but empathy, positive intent and especially prayer have powerful value and they are one of the few things its hard to argue is not free. So if you can please pray for Joel Stigale.

Thank you so much for reading, it is sincerely appreciated

Dear Friends

The doctors said that they have done everything they can do from a medical standpoint to help Joel. His bone marrow is not producing platelets or white blood cells, he is beginning to go into renal failure, his heart is only functioning at 10%, and his lungs have taken a beating after all these months of fighting viruses, etc. The kind doctor, who is a believer, said that the only thing that can save Joel’s life now would be a miracle. So we pray 💗

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

My gratitude to Joel is deep, because he has helped to create a truly wonderful environment which strengthens and grows the community locally and beyond. I am honestly very sad at the moment.  To really express why I am so sad I need to put it in context.

When came back to Catalyst(not a regular at the time) I noticed that Joel wasn’t there because he was always there. I was informed that he was sick and in the hospital after a few visits. The place never felt the same without him, so I did not realize how much I took his presence for granted. The more I came there the more it stuck out to me. I had thanked him before but honestly I was looking forward to sincerely thanking him again for the hard work he has done in creating such a wonderful place. Additionally thank him as well for guiding and nurturing so many wonderful people. I want to and I am praying that I will get to thank him sincerely in person.

To me, Catalyst Miami is a like an Oasis in a African desert. So many people come there seeking its waters and shade before they once again must deal with the greater desert.  I can say that it has helped my friend and has helped me help my friend, which has helped many people by that positive externality. The multipliers that it has had cannot be seen with the eye but they exist none the less.

I personally don’t expect people who have never seen and met Joel or extensions of his will to genuinely care. So I write this with great sincerity, to personalize and to humanize Joel with you, if you read this far. He is a really good person, a person who has helped many people. A person I would really like to properly sit and talk to this time because I would thank him for all the things he has done. He is very sick and is going through a critical time.

We all don’t have to share the same faith, the same religion or even friends to reach out with positive thoughts of well being and recovery for someone else. Most of us, even if we don’t believe in God, ask for help at some point from a higher power. As man(male and female) we have far more similarities than we dissimilarities. Let us focus on what we share and even if just for a moment pray and wish recovery for Joel Stigale.

Thank you so much, please help us pray for Joel.

I don’t know if I should even put these links but these are some of the events that Catalyst has done or been involved with that I have had the benefit of writing about just recently this year alone
