performance Preparation #7 : Absolute Zero September 7th

Here is the next installment of my daily blog, leading up the ILoveMakonnen show on the 17th. Look at the previous installments before you start reading this one.
So today was perhaps the most awkward day since I started the Personal Preparations. It was the day after rocking the Blind Math show and seeing KRS- ONE. It feels like time is flying cause I just realized we really only have 3 days to practice until the Cakes Da Killa show.
We know our material for the most part but there is still a lot to finish. We need to meet so we can finalize the track listing. Also we have to figure out how we are going to DJ the set. We haven’t had time to do any in person promotion for the most part; we still need to track down some equipment to even get practice started.
So with all that to do and only three days to do it in, we really couldn’t afford to lose time. Unfortunately the personal emergency practice today, had to be cancelled. Which was kind of double hit cause it was a last-minute cancellation and I had already made it to the area the practice was supposed to be at..
Oh well live and learn, I spent most of the rest of the day working on these personal preparations (cause I love ya’ll). I’m going to get some rest early and pick it up tomorrow . I’m hype for this opening set..
