Kraz, and how about I get the juice

Honestly I don’t know alot about Kraz, I more or less stumbled unto him on Facebook. I heard his song ” I Got The Juice” , and thought it was a good song. To be honest, if I didn’t read that Kraz was from New York, I would have sworn he was a southern rapper. I don’t have a problem with this, some people seem to excessively hate this trend.

Why, well there is alot of reasons, if you are rapping for money as your drive then it makes sense to orient with what is hot. It doesn’t make sense to get mad about it but then love Jay-Z(or loved Jay-Z until the recent cool down).

Next, New York is a high trade center people move to big cities like New York and L.A all the time. To be honest the merit placed on where you are from is a little silly, esp in certain cities where people move to and fro. It only makes sense when we are talking about certain areas where it is not easy to move. Sadly logic has been lost as people who talk about the game and street life, clearly have left and the even more foolish have taken over in there place. So, Kraz could actually be from the South but live in New York, or some combination like that.

Lastly on the this point, is that I don’t think Kraz‘s sound stays this way. I heard “Hello, I’m Kraz“, I didn’t think it was going to be a song. However when he started to rhyme, I was like okay, he sounds different. Personally, I think its good for a rapper to change his style to fit the beat. That is getting closer back to an Emcee. To me, I also look at it as MC, because I think of Microphone controller. I think of a guy who is an artist, who controls the beat, who knows how to dominate it but also harmonize with it when necessary. To guide me to the place that they intended for me to go, when they created the art that they did. I value that alot, you lose points when you like the ability to be able to variate your style.

About Kraz‘s song I got the Juice, honestly…..Its a good song to me. Its the kind of song, I would listen to when working for some good energy and pick up buzz. Honesty, I was not lyrically blown away by the song but its a rihda song.  I like that alot, I can appreciate different macro song approaches. I mean I use to and still love the crown  of ridha music, West Coast tracks esp by OG’s like Snoop and Tupac. This song is more like a southern variation of those types of rihdas. It is a fun song honestly and I have listened to quite a few times already. I’m interested in listening to more from Kraz.

I wonder how you guys will feel about the song, hopefully you will find it interesting and find a similar enjoyment out of this song like I have.
